AUTOTRONIK-SMT KFTA3D feeders set a new standard for accurate, reliable and economical SMD component feeding. The narrow design of these intelligent feeders maximizes the number of feeders that can be mounted in the pick-and-place machines.
Every single Autotronik Smart Feeder is equipped with a DB-9 connector and fits on every feeder bank of the BS/BA/HD series. This interface allows the connection between the machine software and the memory module built into the feeder. An individual ID is stored in the memory module, which uniquely identifies the feeder, with information such as feeder position, component data and belt specifications.
Autotronik Smart Feeders are available from 8mm to 88mm belt width and increments from 2mm (for 01005 to 0402) up to 36mm. An optional barcode reader system is available to simplify the input of component data.

The improved motor drive module allows components to be fed in cleaner and faster, significantly improving production efficiency.
Non-stop production is possible thanks to splicing and the use of a versatile collection pocket for easy removal of stripped cover tapes.
The use of stepper motors and brushless motors significantly increases the robustness of the feeder, which is suitable for continuous production use.
The use of high-precision motor control significantly improves the stop position accuracy and feed resolution.
Feeders are available in sizes from 8 mm to 88 mm tape width. It can therefore meet the requirements of practically all applications. Larger feeders are also available on request.
